  3. thanks a bunch man :) nothing is sure for what concern the record itself (its the Death Side Live LP by the way) but again,i'll send u a link as long as i can get my hands onto it...God knows im a sucker for d.i.y. re-recordings of old tapes and such!

Also, aint a shame that for some reasons (=money) particular well done re recording posts on the internet for fans by fans are being picked up by the socalled "indie"labels for their new reprints? Guess punk is definitley dead!

cheers to beers, ant thanks again btw!

  4. deathside live in sendai right? why someone putted this out on vinyl like that i don't know, ive downloaded a "remastered" version on slsk and it sounds like shit, damn
has some annoying sounds in it too...but not sureif they are on the lp too...
if your version doesnt have those sounds in it,i think i can do a better job,or else i can cut out those parts too

but not really agree on your last point about the old recordings ...it can be done well, and that way the bands gets their share too,and more people have the chance to listen to the tunes, nothing wrong with that...
its bootlegs like that deathside lp that are made the $$$$,no effort made to clean up the recordings,a shame it got released like that...

but enough releases out there with enough heart in it...
for example, ive cleaned up the CORRUPTION 1986 demo & BLOEDBAD demo recording, this year im gonna release em myself,on my own label, with permission from the bands, not for the money or anything like that, probably gonna lose money on em,but fuck it
just wanna make good music available for the first time on vinyl
    punk is dead,hardcore isn't ;-0... D.I.Y. or die!

send over those mp3's and pretty sure i can pimp up that sound a bit, hear ya

^ AGREE ON 1000% on that.I was saying it just cos i had some bad experience from some labels from there (im halfway from USA and Italy, just to say) and the thing itself is going outta whack, there are some few real indipendent labels going on,and the biggest are just scamming the rest,IMO.Bt the situation is even worse with the bootleggers,at least in SHIT-italy.For example, you got no royalties or support for older bands, whatsoever,if not by the little know-it-alls of the "scene" (geez, you cannot even call it a scene propely, anyway). And if you dont,at least, conform to the last trend and play outta the country,or better, you are one of the few bands that moves people to a gig, probably the crowd will rather go to a fuckin rave than a concert. But hopefully the d.i.y ethic/passion is everything but gone out of the hardcore punk genre worldwide and those genres related to it,and i think hardcore itself will survive even if now is a little bit saturated with jocks and whatsoever! :)

And for the Death Side thing....YES PLEASE! i just can find it anywhere! i agree its shameful sonically speaking, but im dying to hear it anyway! If you can adjust the sound well....i think i can just came in my pants and die for a heartstroke to say the least! :D

    thank you for everything!

  6. Ps - my version of that record ("Live at..."by DS) is exactly the same as your,it was barely audible...so i deleted it.If anything, would be great to hear a better mix, that Avskum/Unnatural Silence remastering was amazing to my ears!!
